61st Burridge and Swanwick Residents' Association AGM
Monday, 27th April 2026 at 7.30pm in Burridge Hall
The Association’s objectives are to safeguard, as far as it is able, the interests of the
residents in matters appertaining to:
• local government in so far as it applies to residents;
• the wellbeing of the village in general;
• any other matter deemed desirable by the majority at a general meeting.
We hope you can attend and look forward to updating you on our activities. The meeting
will also give you an opportunity to air your views and ask questions about local matters that
affect our neighbourhood and, importantly, to discuss the future of the Association.
DRAFT AGENDA
1. Presentation speaker TBA.
2. Approval of the Minutes of the 2025 AGM, which are published on our website.
3. Matters Arising.
4. Summary of Chairman’s Report, the full report will be published on our website.
5. Treasurer's Report, that will be published online prior to the meeting.
6. To consider and vote on the Committee’s proposal to disband the Association.

7. Subject to the outcome of the above, Election of Committee Members.
Several current committee members have expressed their desire to stand down even
though they are not at the end of their 3-year terms.
8. Question and Answer Session with our local Councillor.
9. Any Other Business advised before the meeting including a statement from Ann Ailes
on her progress in attempting to get a bus service through the North part of Botley
Road in Burridge & Swanwick Lane.
After the meeting, please join us for a chat over a glass of wine or soft drink.
